There where  indications yesterday that the erratic power supply in Lagos may deepen after alarms were raised by both Eko and Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company over the drop in megawatts allocated to them by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), as reported by Vanguard.

Representatives of Eko and Ikeja DISCOs, Godwin Idemudia, and Felix Ofulue, regretted that they were having challenges in distributing power over their systems, because of inadequate portions of megawatts from TCN.

According to Ofulue,“The power supply is gradually going down across our networks as we are engaged in serious load-shedding because of the non-availability of energy which has to be rationed based on what we receive”.
