Osibanjo Reveals Challenges of Power Sector



The recent attacks on oil facilities by the militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), is responsible for Nigeria’s poor power supply problem currently been experienced, Herald reports.

The Vice President stated this at the 2nd Foundation Lecture of the privately owned Elizade University, Ilaro, Ondo State.

He noted that 50% of the country’s power generation id gas fired, hence the bombings have greatly affected the power sector.

Osibanjo delivered a lecture with the theme “The Future Is Here, Earlier Than We Thought”.
