Engineers From Niger Republic Visit Kaduna Electric, Seek Improved Power Supply


A team of Engineers from Niger Republic has visited the Kebbi Area Office of Kaduna Electric to seek ways to improve the current level of power supply to the country.
The Ag. Business Development and Relationship Officer, Mr. Stephen A. Ajayi was on hand to receive the visitors.
Ajayi explained to the visiting team some of the challenges the company is facing in meeting its energy requirement but stressed its determination to be efficient with what it receives to keep it customers satisfied.
He added, “Our relationship with Niger Republic is equally of utmost importance to us.”
The leader of the Team, Engr. Haladou Zaneidou, thanked the management of Kaduna Electric for its unflinching effort in the provision of power and show of understanding.
Engr. Zaneidou however decried some of the challenges being experienced in some of the areas under Kaduna Electric which according to him include frequent tripping and low voltages.
In a related development, the Engineers from Niger Republic also visited the office of the Ag. Assistant General Manager, Transmission Company of Nigeria, (TCN), Engr. Aminu Haruna on their way to inspect a newly installed circuit breaker.
The TCN boss applauded the efforts of Kaduna Electric in ensuring that Niger Republic enjoys steady supply of power.
Engr. Haruna assured the team that new Kamba/Gaya line has the capacity to provide standard voltage while expressing confidence in the difference that the new circuit breaker will bring.
The Distribution Engineer, Engr. Dogara Saidu thanked the Management of Transmission Company of Nigeria for their continued support and understanding.
