13-Year-Old boy Creates Fans That Work Without Electricity

Considering the current chaos in the country’s power sector and the situation of poor and epileptic power supply, a 13-year-old boy has taken initiatives to proffer a level of solution. Ukoma Michael, who has been described by some as one of the youngest upcoming tech entrepreneurs in the world has been discovered right here in Nigeria as a 13-year-old has built a battery-operated fan.

His latest invention, which he calls the “Blue Wind Fans,”  comes in different shapes and sizes from table top to free standing and can be charged to run for up to 19 hours!
His fans are made from aluminium and wire. He also makes use of old cartons for packaging. This makes them very affordable for low income families while still looking presentable.
