Eko Electric Planned Power Outage

The Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDP) has announced to its customers that there will be occasional planned power outages in areas along the Alagbon Transmission Station. The intermittent power outage is expected to last through 5 days.

According to EKEDP’s statement, the reason for the outages is to resolve technical & maintenance issues on various TS equipment and devices.

These repairs are scheduled to hold from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th May, 2017.
The following areas are to be affected; Ikoyi, Victoria Island, and Lagos Island.

Kaduna Electric Apologizes for Power Outage

The Management of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company has apologised to its esteemed customers in Kawo, Mando, Rigasa, Unguwan Dosa, Unguwan Sarki, Unguwan Rimi, Unguwan Kanawa, Unguwan Shanu, Badarawa, Malali, Luggard hall area and Igabi over the sudden power outage that is currently being experienced in the areas.

This planned outage was initiated by Transmission Company of Nigeria to enable their engineering crew carry out an emergency maintenance work on the T1 30MVA Power Transformer serving the affected areas.

Kaduna Electric has assured its customers of restoration of normal power supply as soon as TCN restore supply.
