The Management of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) has released a statement informing and apologizing to their esteemed customers within some parts of Port Harcourt and its environs about the outage currently being experienced for the past three days.

Reason For Outage:
According to the statement, the power outage is due to a line fault that occurred on 132kv lines from Afam to Elelenwo Transmission Station.
The forced outage affected Rumukrushi, Onne, Bori, Eleme, the entire Oyigbo and Elenlewo.
PHED, however, assured its customers that efforts are been made by the technical crew from the Transmission Company of Nigeria to ensure that the fault is found and fixed soonest.
The distribution company also used the medium to solicit its customers’ understanding and patience while waiting for the fault to be fixed.
