EEDC Confirms Restoration Of Power Supply

The management of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) in a press statement confirmed the restoration of TR2 60MVA TCN power transformer at Egbu, Owerri.

Speaking on the restoration of supply, Mr Emeka Ezeh, Head communication EEDC said;

“we wish to inform our esteemed customers in Imo state that the 60MVA power transformer belonging to the Transmission (TCN) which has been on maintenance has been restored.”

“Normal supply has been restored to our customers in the affected areas.”

“We thank you for your patience and understanding during the period of the maintenance.”

Similarly, the management also apologized to its esteemed customers connected to the TCN station, Awka for the current power outage they are experiencing. The outage is as a result of a breaker fault. EEDC assured its customers that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) are working hard to restore supply to our injection substations. Once this is done, Awka and other surrounding towns will have supply.
