AEDC Outage Alert; Jahi District And Environs


TCN Outage Alert; Ikeja, Isolo, Mushin

The management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has released a statement informing its esteemed customers and other members of the public within Jahi District and environs of an outage.



The outage is due to a gas explosion at the Jahi District, the 33KV Feeder serving Jahi and environs has been isolated since 20th February, 2018. This is because of the proximity of the scene of the explosion to our lines and also to enable the fire department deal with the situation.




The affected areas includes; Etisalat Switch Yard, Jahi Village, Next Cash and Carry, NAF Conference Center, Navy Quarters Kado, Kado Kuchi and environs.




Supply will be restored as soon as the current situation is addressed.
