RESTORATION OF ELELENWO TRANSMISSION STATION: PHED THANKS CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR PATIENCE
The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED has expressed its joy over the restoration of Elelenwo Transmission Station, an outage that lasted for seven days.
The Transmission Station, located at Elelenwo was discovered to have faulty Direct Connection, DC, and breaker, thereby making it impossible to supply 6No outgoing 33/11KV feeders, namely; RSTV, Igbo Etche, Timber, Onne, Eleme and Elelenwo.
As a result of the forced outage, PHED customers at Oyigbo, Elelenwo, Old Oyigbo, Onne, Eleme, Igbo Etche, and some parts of Aba Road were affected.
Ceaselessly, the technical crew has been making concerted effort until this afternoon when it recorded success.
PHED, therefore, uses this medium to appreciate the patience of its customers while the outage lasted. The company would continue to do its best with a view to ensuring customers’ satisfaction at all times.
