The Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has sacked its Chief Corporate Services Officer, Temitope Owoeye.
Abdulazeez Abdullahi, Head, Corporate Communication, KEDCO, in a statement yesterday said the management of Kaduna Electric, with the backing of the Board of Directors, took the decision to relieve Owoeye of his duties to forestall a breach in its operations and disruption of the harmonious working relationship among staff.
The statement added that the Management of Kaduna Electric affirmed that all staff who deliberately violated laid down company rules would be made to face the consequences.
Owoeye was handed his dismissal letter yesterday after a disciplinary committee instituted to investigate allegations of insubordination, indiscipline and gross misconduct levelled against him found him guilty of the offences.
